SECTION 5F. Father's leaving family to obtain assistance; penalty

A father who leaves his family for the purpose of qualifying them for assistance under any of the programs administered by the department shall be punished by a fine of not less than two hundred nor more than five hundred dollars or by imprisonment for not more than three months.
