SECTION 9. Confidentiality of records

Latest version.

All DNA records collected pursuant to this chapter shall be confidential and shall not be disclosed to any person or agency unless such disclosure shall be authorized by this chapter. DNA records shall not be stored in a criminal offender record information system operated by the department of criminal justice information services pursuant to sections 167 to 178, inclusive, of chapter 6.
