SECTION 10. Office of legal counsel

Latest version.

There shall be within the department an office of legal counsel under the direction of a general counsel who shall report to the commissioner. The office shall be responsible for the investigation, defense and claims handling for claims against the Workers' Compensation Trust Fund, and for any other duties the commissioner may assign.
