SECTION 18. Armory commission

There shall be an armory commission composed of the following members: the adjutant general, who shall serve as chairperson; the state quartermaster, who shall serve as clerk; 3 assistant adjutants general, 1 of whom shall be an army officer and 1 of whom shall be an air officer. Neither the adjutant general nor the state quartermaster shall receive additional compensation on account of their membership in the armory commission. The assistant adjutants general shall, if not currently on full-time military duty, receive 1 day's pay of grade and allowances for each day of service as a member of the armory commission.
