SECTION 19C. Deposits in credit union; pension or retirement allowances

Any county treasurer may deduct from the pension or retirement allowance of a retired person who was a member of such county retirement system, such sum as such retired person may specify in writing and shall transmit the same to a credit union designated by such retired person.
