SECTION 10. Action for recovery of local license fee

Latest version.

If a person liable for the license fee required by section five refuses or neglects to pay the same after demand by the clerk of the town in which he intends to sell goods, wares and merchandise, the clerk may maintain an action of contract therefor in his own name for the benefit of such town.
