SECTION 26. Use or possession of false or condemned devices

Whoever uses, or has in possession with intent to use, a false or condemned weighing or measuring device for weighing or measuring any commodity bought, sold or exchanged, or for hire or reward, shall be punished by a fine of not more than fifty dollars or shall be subject to a civil citation as provided in section 29A. The possession of such weighing or measuring device shall be prima facie evidence of intention to use it in violation of law.
