SECTION 87YYY. Certified health officers; qualifications; temporary certification

The board may by rule establish the minimum educational and experience qualifications which the applicants must possess before being allowed to take the examination for certification as health officers and may in like manner provide for the issuance of temporary certification pending an examination to applicants who appear to be qualified and may in like manner provide for the issuance of certification without examination to persons holding certification of licenses as health officers under the laws of another state.
