SECTION 2. Board of trustees; number; appointment

There shall be a board of trustees of the Tewksbury Hospital serving in the department consisting of seven persons, three of whom shall annually in June be appointed by the governor for three years, except that in the year nineteen hundred and sixty and every third year thereafter only one such trustee shall be appointed.
