SECTION 23. Bond of receiver

The bond of any receiver appointed by a division of the housing court department shall be payable to the commonwealth and shall otherwise be in such form as the chief justice of the housing court department shall require. Such bond may be enforced in the name of the commonwealth by the treasurer of the commonwealth, or by any person interested therein and authorized by the chief justice of the housing court department, after notice to said treasurer, to take such action. The housing court department shall have exclusive original jurisdiction of actions on such bonds. Any sums recovered shall be paid over or administered as a justice of the housing court department directs.
