SECTION 13B. Extensions for filing reports of abandoned property

The treasurer is hereby empowered to extend the date for filing of a report and turning over property for a period up to two months upon written request of a holder if he deems such extension is warranted. Where such extension is granted the requirement for notice and publication by the treasurer shall be extended by a like period not to exceed two months.
