SECTION 9. Temporary assistant clerks; manner of appointment

If an assistant clerk of the courts is unable to perform the duties of his office, a temporary assistant clerk may be appointed in the same manner as an assistant clerk and he shall perform the duties of that office until the assistant clerk resumes his duties.
