SECTION 42. Recording execution for possession and return

An officer serving an execution issued upon a judgment for possession shall, within three months after the service, and before the return of the execution into the recorder's office, cause such execution with his return thereon to be recorded in the registry of deeds for the county or district where the land affected thereby lies, and the expense thereof shall be added to his charge for service.
