SECTION 15. Acknowledgment or new promise by joint contractor; effect

A joint contractor or his executor or administrator shall not lose the benefit of this chapter so as to be chargeable by reason only of an acknowledgment or promise made or signed, or by reason of a payment made, by any other joint contractor or his executor or administrator.
