SECTION 172N. Requirements for professional licenses; list of specific disqualifying criminal convictions

State and political subdivision licensing authorities shall provide in the licensing requirements for a professional license a list of the specific criminal convictions that are directly related to the duties and responsibilities for the licensed occupation that may disqualify an applicant from eligibility for a license. For the purposes of this section, ''licensing authority'' shall include an agency, examining board, credentialing board, or other office or commission with the authority to impose occupational fees or licensing requirements on a profession.
