SECTION 44. Reports of municipal statistics; publication

The commissioner of revenue may obtain and compile statistics about the financial affairs of cities and towns and other information of public interest pertaining to municipal affairs. Such statistics and other information the commissioner deems relevant may be published and distributed through such means and methods as the commissioner shall choose. The commissioner may also publish, at such intervals as is considered advisable, the director's bulletins or special reports on municipal affairs.
