SECTION 155. Clerks of courts

At the biennial state election in nineteen hundred and twenty-two, and in every sixth year thereafter, the clerk of the courts in counties other than Suffolk, and in Suffolk the clerk of the supreme judicial court for that county and the clerks of the superior court for civil and for criminal business therein, shall be chosen by the voters of their respective counties.
