SECTION 87U. Aesthetics, barbering, cosmetology, electrolysis, hairdressing and manicuring; registration of students; practice upon paying customers

The board may require schools to register or report the progress of enrolled students. No fee shall be required for such registration. No student shall practice aesthetics, barbering, electrolysis, hairdressing or manicuring upon any paying customer and no school shall directly or indirectly make any charge for services in connection with such practice of aesthetics, barbering, cosmetology, electrolysis, hairdressing or manicuring. A school shall not pay a student for any services rendered by the student.
