SECTION 181A. Appearance under assumed name; statement filed; penalty

Whoever, for compensation, appears in a public exhibition, public show, public amusement or other public performance under an assumed name shall file with the commissioner of the division of professional licensure on a form prescribed by him a statement containing the true name, legal address and the assumed name of such person. Such statement shall be under the penalties of perjury and shall be accompanied by a fee, the amount of which shall be determined annually by the commissioner of administration under the provision of section three B of chapter seven for the filing thereof. Violations of this section shall be punished by a fine not to exceed one hundred dollars for each offence.
